Rewards:
Students receive individual reward Star Note which has a friendly and encouraging note from the teacher such as, “You’re the best!”; students may receive a Dojo point when they earn the Star Note.
As a class the students work toward earning a class party. Class Party takes place the same time as their normal class time and usually involves one sweet treat and one or two games.
Penalties:
1st infraction: Verbal Warning
2nd infraction: Time away from the group’s activity/sit alone apart from the group
3rd infraction: Writing Assignment or loss of DoJo points Notify classroom teacher
4th infraction: Notify classroom teacher and Parent note home
5th infraction: Notify classroom teacher and Parent Conference
*All Major infractions will comply with those outlined in the Family handbook . Major infractions include: fighting, cheating, bullying, inappropriate devices/toys, destruction of school property, skipping detention, profanity, and uniform infractions. Middle School: Computer/Electives

Rewards:
Students in Middle school who keep the classroom rules are allowed to sit next to a friend and choose their preferred seat in the classroom.
Penalties:
1st infraction: Name on board/Verbal Warning
2nd infraction: Loose an in class privilege or receive a character writing assignment, notify homeroom teacher
3rd infraction: Silent lunch time/ notify teacher and parent
4th infraction: Detention slip/ notify teacher and parent
